Literature Text

There is such providence upon the sand
that rises up between my toes each step,
of breath that slips between my weighted lips,
of fingers tugged through salty, tangled hair.
There is just me, and sometimes you
who walk across this path along the shore.
A second sky projects along the sea
through which we swim, just you and sometimes me.
Should time be held within an hour glass
then during sunset times I think that grains
must stick amidst the salt and brine to halt
this march of cherished, stolen time.
For like the tide before our toes it drives,
these dawny moment held between our times.
Just the shore, and me, and sometimes you.
Written for poetry class, it had to have 10 lines written in Iambic Pentameter. 10 points if you can guess what I wrote the poem about??

Regardless, the image is not mine, it's stock from my computer and BOY is it cliched.
